Antique Palace Size Oriental Rug made in the 1890s Persian oriental KASHAN rug and this is the real thing and NOT Indo Kashan made in India you see around. This rug is from an estate in upstate NY. and its not a reproduction, used to be very expensive 10-20 yrs ago.
From the back weave you can see its a Persian Kashan rug and NOT from India or from Pakistan reproduction.
Large for great room coverage.
Good condition the wool pile is Manchester wool, its fine as silk and due to reflection of light in the camera you can see some light area, this rug is in good shape.
100% wool pile, even & low.
Hand knotted.
Super fine weave.
