The piece is made of excellent quarter sawn oak with an original dark finish.

The chair has unusual form with tapered slats at the back and heart cutouts.

It has a high back and is tapered front to back.

The front legs have an interesting chamfer staring near the midpoint.

The paper label is gone but the tack remains as pictured. This is a very decorative and usable piece.
