Roycroft Large Andirons W944

Description

This is a superb pair of antique andirons from the early 1900s Mission and Arts & Crafts period in very good condition.

The set of is unusually large and is made of extremely thick wrought iron.

The are extremely well made and may be by Roycroft, through they are unsigned.

There are great faceted balls at the top and a unique cyclone motif below.

The rings are very well crafted and each piece has a wide stance with curled feet.

They have riveted construction and very sturdy.

These andirons have a unique and decorative design and are exceptional quality.
