This is an antique Persian Sarough Oriental wool rug from the 1920s in good condition.

The rug has 100% wool, hand knotted pile that is mostly even-high with lower areas that are pointed out in the pictures.

The sides and ends are complete.

Fringe has been added to the ends some time in the past and can be removed if you desire.

The rug is heavy and well made and has a great design and bold color scheme.

Red background with navy border and gold, brown, light blue, ivory.
