This is a pair of good early antique Limbert Armchairs from the early 1900’s Mission and Arts & Crafts period in excellent condition.
The chairs are made of great quarter sawn oak with an original ebonized finish.
The arms are pinned and have exposed through tenons and the chairs are also double pinned at the top and front.
Both are signed with the Limbert brand under the arm.
The leather is original, including the spring seats, with some minor but noticeable wear.
They are quite usable and decorative as is, but if you prefer we can recover them for in in excellent new leather for a fee.
They are sturdy and strong and are numbered 588.
