L&jg Stickley Early Settle F6005

Description

This is a superb antique L&JG Stickley early settle from the early 1900s Mission and Arts & Crafts period in excellent condition.

The piece is made of superb quarter sawn oak with a good original finish.

It has nice drop arm form with slats at the back.

The arms have through tenons and are supported by corbels.

The feet are slightly shaped and the piece is very heavy and sturdy.

The original spring seat has been recovered with high quality butterscotch leather.

The piece is signed with an early red decal and is highly decorative and usable.
