Gustav Stickley V-Back Rocker W1267

Description

This is an antique Gustav Stickley V-back rocker from the early 1900’s Mission and Arts & Crafts era in very good condition.

The piece is made of excellent quarter sawn oak with a good original finish.

It has good form, featuring a V-shaped crest rail, slats at the back, as well as through tenons, corbels, and pins at the arms.

The chair is also pinned at the top and bottom.

The original leather upholstery is present and has some damage.

This may be salvageable, or we can have it recovered for you in new leather.

All the original pyramid tacks are present.

The chair is unsigned but is definitely Gustav Stickley.
