This is an early antique J.M. Young slotted settle from the early 1900’s in very good condition.
The piece is extremely heavy and bulky with early post-in-post construction at the back?(see pictures) and through tenon construction as well as being pinned all over.
The finish is original and the original spring cushion has been recovered with great leather.
The piece is sturdy and strong with massive construction.
