Charles Rohlfs Bookcase F6542

Description

This a superb and very unique antique Arts & Crafts bookcase that may be made by Charles Rohlfs.

We are not yet certain, but the piece looks like his work.

It is very rustic looking and has unusual lower storage compartments.

There is keyed through tenon construction on the top and bottom.

The boards are very thick and bulky and the glass appears original.

It is made of quarter sawn oak with a great original finish with a deep dark reddish color.

There are 3 adjustable shelves and the back is paneled with thick boards.

This is a very unusual and decorative piece.
