Caucasian Shirvan Killim. RR918

Description

This is a good antique Caucasian Shirvan Killim oriental wool rug from the 1850s to 1860s in good condition.

The rug has a 100% wool flat weave over a wool foundation.

It has a superb and desirable design and color scheme and is very high quality.

It is an excellent size and still has fringe at the ends.

There is one patch near one side as you can see in the pictures.

This can be used as is or it can be taken out and rewoven to restore the rug.

There is very little wear on the rug other than a thin spot or two as pointed out in the pictures.

This is a high quality and collectible rug that is an excellent candidate for restoration or it can be used as is.
