This is a superb antique Caucasian Kazak oriental runner from the late 1800s in very good condition.
The rug has 100% wool pile over a wool foundation.
The pile is even-low in the center and is nearly full on the border.
The sides are complete and the ends have had a few rows professionally restored and straightened.
The rug has superb design and color scheme and has a very desirable ivory border which provides an excellent contrast.
The rug is a very rare size and is extremely decorative and collectible.
