This is a superb antique Caucasian Kazak oriental rug from the 1890s in very good condition.
The rug has 100% wool pile over a wool foundation. The pile is even-high throughout.
The sides are complete and the ends have a few rows straightened and professionally restored.
The rug has a great design and color scheme with a very desirable ivory border providing an excellent contrast.
It has a triple medallion design with a bold red background and large scale figures.
The rug comes in a very desirable size and is extremely decorative and collectible.
