Arts & Crafts Large Settle F276

Description

This is a nice antique Arts & Crafts large settle from the early 1900’s Mission period in very good condition.

The settle may be the work of J. M. Young, but it is unsigned.

It is made of thick quarter sawn oak with a dark reddish finish.

The back is nicely slatted and the arms have exposed through tenons and are corbelled.

It is double pinned on the top and bottom.

The upholstery is quality black leather in excellent condition with no holes.

The piece is very large and heavy.
