This is a special chair made in 1902. When Stickley Brothers first started his business he had a special artist working for him and he made several pieces of furniture with the same top quality as his brother Gustav, later on he made his furniture with a lower quality and a much lower price, this was made when he was making furniture with higher quality. As you can see from the picture the seat is heavy duty with excellent selection of solid quarter sawn oak.
