THIS IS A GOOD ANTIQUE GUSTAV STICKLEY 2 DOOR BOOKCASE IN VERY GOOD CONDITION AND WAS REFINISHED IN THE PAST. THE 2 SIDES AS Y]U CAN SEE ARE REAL TRUETENNON CONSTRUCTION ON EACH SIDE AND ITS ALSO PINNED ON EACH SIDE AS SHOWN AND ITS MADE OUT OF QUARTERSTONE OAK, THE 2 DOOR WOOD HAS 12 PANS OF GLASS AS PICTURED AND ITS NOT ONE-PANED GLASS LIKE IN LOW-END CABINETS, THE BOOKCASE HAS NO REPAIRS AND NO REPLACED PARTS WITH ORIGINAL ROT IRON PULL AND HAMMER COPPER PLATE OF THE PULL. THE BOOKCASE IS STURDY AND READY TO BE USED IN ANY HOME THE BACK COMES WITH A REMINENT OF THE ORIGINAL GUSTAV STICKLEY PAPER LABEL AND ITS MARK. THE SIZE IS

Gustav Stickley was great artist and his big secret was his quality and talent on his woodworker and he knew exactly who to hire and he never got complaints because of how good the quality always is, in the early 1970s he came and visited Leo Stickley’s widow before she passed and purchased The Brand Named L&JG STICKLEY, that man saw the company making copies of them from the early 1900s and he marked his work as L&JG Audi, his furniture is Stickley Lookalike and not really Stickley, stuff from today looks nice, but its not nearly as well-designed as this cabinet, this reproduction furniture he made doesn’t have much value and you’re lucky to get 10% what you paid for them, another important thing about Stickley furniture is many people collect his works, 30-40 years ago many items are worth half a million or more and we have many of those items as well. we see online many reproduction Stickley furniture they lie and say is Stickley but its far from his quality and is little more worth than 4-5 hundred a piece. we only deal with real Stickley furniture and don’t buy and sell them, because buyers will think we sell fake furniture. lately we see lots of Stickley furniture marked as Stickley that does not say its reproduction and they raise the price to try fooling the buyers into thinking they are buying real ones. One thing about him is the copper pull and people put machine made handles on their fakes
