This is a nice and unusual antique Arts & Crafts large armchair from the early 1900’s Mission and Arts & Crafts period in very good condition.
The piece is made of excellent quarter sawn oak with an overcoated original finish with good color.
There are nice wide arms with slight shaping and corbels underneath.
The crest rail has an inverted V shape over a wide horizontal back slat.
The piece is very thick and bulky and is pinned all over.
The seat has new leather upholstery with brass tacks.
We think it may be Gustav Stickley #2632 in the early catalogue, but it is unsigned.
