This is a good antique Stickley Brothers armchair from the early 1900's Mission and Arts & Crafts period in very good condition.
The piece is made of excellent quarter sawn oak with a cleaned original finish.
It has unique form with a thick, curved horizontal back and great tapered posts.
The front has a nice curve and the seat has usable woven upholstery with very minor stretching.
The chair has nice shaped arms and is very sturdy and strong.
It is signed with a paper label by the retailer (Paine Furniture) and is numbered as pictured and has a great decorative look.
