Description:
This is a superb antique Quashgai Oriental rug from the late 1800's in
excellent condition. The rug is untouched with no reweaving. The hand
knotted, 100% wool pile is even and the rug has a wool foundation. It
has an extremely fine weave and is in an unusual large size for Quashgai.
The ends have been professionally Persian overcast. The sides and ends
are complete. This is a rare and highly decorative rug in unusually
excellent condition and is very desirable and collectible.

background with ivory border and green, gold, light blue, red, dark red.
