Description:
This is a superb antique Caucasian Kazak Oriental rug from the late
1800's in excellent condition. The rug has 100% wool hand knotted pile
on a wool foundation. The pile is even and high and has no spots of
wear. One end has its original killim fringe. It has been removed on the
other end, straightened and professionally Persian overcast on both
ends. The rug has particularly excellent dyes and the design features
dates in several areas. The sides and ends are complete. This fine rug
is in extremely rare condition and is highly decorative and collectible.
