Description:
This is a superb antique Persian Lavar Kerman Oriental rug from the
1870's in good condition. The rug has mostly even-low pile with complete
sides and ends. It has a great size and a fantastic medallion design and
color scheme. The rug is hand knotted with 100% wool pile on a cotton
foundation. There are some minor areas of repiling including a larger
area pointed out in the pictures. There is some minor dot wear that we
can disguise with dye if you desire. No color tinting has been done on
this rug currently. This is a highly decorative and collectible rug.
