Description:
This is a rare antique Persian Mehraban Oriental rug sampler from the
1910's in excellent condition. The rug has 100% wool, hand knotted pile
that is full throughout with no signs of wear. The weave is good and the
wool and dye are high quality. The original fringe is present and the
sides and ends are complete. This is a rare rug sampler and is NOT a
pieced rug. As you can see from the back, the rug is woven as a single
piece with several designs and color schemes. It is highly decorative
and unique.
