Description:
This is a superb antique Caucasian Oriental rug
from the late 1800's in good condition. The rug has 100% wool, hand
knotted pile over a wool foundation. There is lots of pile present with
some lower areas as you can see. There are also 2 small holes, one
split, 2 corners with wear, and a few rows are missing on the ends all
of which are pictured. The rug is still strong and usable as is but it
is a good candidate for restoration if you so choose. We can have the
restoration done for you if you desire.
In its current state the rug is highly decorative and usable and has a
fantastic design and color combination.

background with ivory border and gold, blue, brown, rust, green, gold.
