Description:
This is a superb antique Anglo Persian
Bird of Paradise Art Deco Wilton rug from the early 1900's in excellent
condition. The rug has 100% wool pile that is even-high with no low
spots. The sides and ends are complete and the original fringe is
present with one area of about 6" missing. We can patch this with
original Anglo Persian fringe if you desire. There are a few tiny dots
of missing wool on the ends typical of these rugs. The rug has an
excellent Art Deco design and is in unusually good condition. We have a
matching rug in the same size and other Bird of Paradise rugs in many
sizes.
