Description:
This is an early antique Caucasian
Kazak Oriental rug from the 1870's in fair condition. The rug was once
exceptional but has has significant portions re-woven as you can see. It
is made of 100% wool hand knotted pile with a wool foundation. There is
still lots of pile throughout with great natural dyes. The design is
excellent and the rug could be further restored to return the rug to its
former greatness and is even usable as is.

background with blue border and navy, teal, ivory, gold, brown.
