Description:
This is a good antique Art Deco Peking Chinese Oriental rug from the
late 1800's in good condition. The rug is structurally in very good
condition with mostly even-high pile throughout with some very minor
lower areas in the background. It has a fantastic landscape border with
a nice Art Deco center design. The sides and ends are complete. The only
real problem is the discoloration in the background. We have not
attempted to remove these spots (see pictures) so it is possible that
their appearance could be lessened or removed. Even as is, the spots are
not too bad and the rug is still very decorative and usable.
