Description:
This is a nice antique Persian Heriz Oriental rug
from the 1940s to 1950s in good condition. The rug has 100% wool, hand knotted
pile that is generally even-high with some significant lower areas as you can see in the
pictures especially around one corner. The sides are complete and the
ends are missing some rows. There is a .5" x 1" hole in the border as
pictured.
The rug has an excellent design and color scheme featuring a very
decorative border. This would be an excellent rug to restore and is even
decorative and usable as is and has fantastic antique colors.
