Description:
This is a superb antique
Art Deco Chinese Oriental rug from the early 1900's in very good
condition. The rug has thick, full, 100% wool pile throughout and is
hand knotted. The sides and ends are complete. The rug has a great Deco
design and has no signs of wear. The pictures show the rug with variance
(light and dark spots) in the pile. This is NOT actually on the rug. It
is the result of lighting and the rug having been rolled for storage.
The lines and light areas will not appear after a few vacuumings--this
is NOT wear.
Colors:
Reddish-purple background with beige border and gold, salmon, green,
brown, violet.
