Description:
This is a superb antique Roycroft heavy
library table from the early 1900s Mission and Arts & Crafts period in
very good condition. The piece is made of very thick quarter sawn oak
with an original finish on the base and a refinished top. The top is
1.25" thick and the legs are 3.25" square. The table has excellent floor
with slats at the sides and large Mackmurdo feet. There are two keyed
through tenons on each sides and it is pinned all over. The drawers are
hand dovetailed and have their original metal pulls. The table is marked
with a carved orb and is highly decorative and collectible.
