Description:
This is a superb antique Macey barrister
bookcase from the early 1900s Mission and Arts & Crafts period in very
good condition. The piece is made of excellent quarter sawn oak with an
original finish. It has excellent Mission form with a rectilinear design
and attractive overlay dividers on the glass doors. The original wooden
pyramid knobs are present and the sections are signed with a decal.
There is a nice footed base and the section heights are 9", 9", 11", and
13". This is a very decorative and usable piece.
