Description:
This is a superb antique Karl Kipp inkwell
from the early 1900s Mission and Arts & Crafts period in excellent
condition. The piece has a wooden base with a hammered copper structure
and an original glass reservoir. The copper has excellent riveted joints
and has an original patina. The form is very rare and attractive and is
extremely well made. Karl Kipp worked for Roycroft before starting his
own firm. The piece is highly
decorative and collectible.
