Description:
This an antique Stickley Brothers library
table from the early 1900s Mission and Arts & Crafts period in very good
condition. The piece is made of good quarter sawn oak with an overcoated
finish. The table has nice form with posts that extend through the top
with decorative screw caps. The top is splined in several places as is
the lower shelf. There are exposed through tenons on the stretchers as
well as on each leg. The legs are pinned and have shaped feet in the
Mackmurdo style. There are two drawers with original brass pulls and one
drawer has a replaced bottom. The table is numbered and is signed with a
metal tag.
