Description:
This is a good antique early Gustav
Stickley v-back rocker from the early 1900s Mission and Arts & Crafts
period in very good condition. The piece is made of good quarter sawn
oak with an original finish with color added. It appears to have its
original upholstery in usable condition. It has nice form with slats at
the back, a V shaped crest rail and exposed through tenons at the arms
that are pinned. There are pinned corbels under the arms as well. The
chair is signed with an early red decal and is model #2597.
