Description:
This is a good antique Gustav Stickley
postcard desk from the early 1900s Mission and Arts & Crafts period in
very good condition. The piece is made of superb quarter sawn oak with
an original finish. The desk is thick and heavy and has great paneled
sides and back. There is a large lower shelf and an envelope holder at
the top. The sides are pinned and the original hand hammered copper
pulls are in excellent condition. The piece is signed with a red decal
and paper label inside one drawer. There is an area on the top with
scratches as pictured. The desk is sturdy and strong and has great
color.
