Description:
This is a nice antique Arts & Crafts
umbrella stand from the early 1900s Mission period in very good
condition. The piece is made of good quarter sawn oak with an original
finish with minor wear. It has nice form with pyramid topped posts and
brass shrouded feet. There is an original hammered copper insert in the
bottom that pulls out like a drawer. The stand is sturdy and strong and
is signed by Sikes as pictured.
