Description:
This is a very unusual antique Arts &
Crafts table from the early 1900s Mission period in very good condition.
The piece is made of chestnut and appears to have an original finish on
the base and a refinished top. It has great bulky form with a very wide
apron and flared cross stretchers. There are 4 pins at the top of each
leg and the bottom has large, exposed through tenons that are double
pinned. The top features unusual flush through tenons that have some
kind of inlay. The table is numbered as pictured, but we do not know who
made it. There are a couple of minor restorations to a board separation
at the top, but the piece is overall in very good condition. It can be
used as a dining table, library table or large lamp table and is very
unique and decorative.
