Description:
This is a good antique L&JG Stickley side
chair from the early 1900s Mission and Arts & Crafts period in very good
condition. The piece is made of excellent quarter sawn oak with a good
original finish. The chair has great form with a dipped top and a bevel
at the front seat rail. There are slats at the back and the chair is
double pinned at the top and pinned at the bottom. The original spring
seat has its original upholstery in good, usable condition. The chair is
sturdy and strong and is marked with a decal as pictured. This is a very
heavy and decorative chair in unusually good condition.
