Description:
This is a nice antique Derby window seat
from the early 1900s Mission and Arts & Crafts period in very good
condition. The piece is made of excellent quarter sawn oak with an
original finish. The bench has excellent cutouts at the bottom and
spindled cutouts at the top. The seat rail is arched and there are keyed
through tenons at the sides. The seat has been recovered in new leather
and the piece is sturdy and strong. The piece was made by Derby but is
unsigned.
