Description:
This is a good antique L&JG Stickley large
rocking chair from the early 1900s Mission and Arts & Crafts period in
very good condition. The chair is made of good quarter sawn oak with an
original finish. The piece has good for with slats at the back and arms
that feature pinned through tenons and corbels. It is also double pinned
at the top and bottom. The original spring seat is covered in a
velvet-like material and is in good, usable condition. The chair is
sturdy and strong and rocks well. It is model #437 and is unsigned.
