Description:
This is a superb antique Roycroft large
book holder from the early 1900s Mission and Arts & Crafts period in
excellent condition. The piece is made of excellent quarter sawn oak
with a good original finish. The book holder is the longer size made to
hold the Philistine publication. There are two keyed through tenons at
each side and there is a cutout at the bottom. The piece is thick and
well made and is highly decorative and collectible.
