Description:
This is a nice set of Arts & Crafts dining
furniture from the early 1900s Mission period in good condition. The set
is made by J. K. Rishel from Williamsport, Pa. They are made of
excellent quarter sawn oak and have their original finishes. They each
have distinctive painted accents as you can see in the pictures. The
table sides on casters and is very heavy and well made. Two legs have
veneer chips as pictured. The chairs have slats at the back and have
fabric coverings. They can be recovered in leather for a small fee if
you desire. One chair has a veneer chip at the top as pictured. The
sideboard has good form and has dovetailed drawers and a plate rail. One
of the original brass pulls is missing as pictured. This is a well made
and quite usable set.
