This is a very nice antique Arts & Crafts
library table from the early 1900s Mission and Arts & Crafts periods in
very good condition. The piece is made of excellent quarter sawn oak
with a good original finish. The table has unique and attractive form
with bookshelves on the sides and a cutout grill on the front and back.
There are cutouts at the bottom and under the drawer and nice pedestal
feet. Original brass pulls are present and the drawer is dovetailed. The
table is very heavy and well made, though it is unsigned. There are a
few minor chips on the feet and at the bottom corners of the drawer and
there is some roughness to one shelf as pictured. The table has a
uniquely decorative look and is usable as a desk.
