Description:
This is a nice antique Gustav Stickley
rocker from the early 1900s Mission and Arts & Crafts period in very
good condition. The piece is made of quarter sawn oak with an overcoated
finish. It has very nice form with a V-shaped crest rail with slats
underneath. The arms have pinned, exposed through tenons and they are
supported by pinned corbels. The chair has its original leather
upholstery in good, usable condition with no tears or rips. There are
also original pyramid tacks all around. There is a shadow of a paper
label under the seat and the chair is model #311.
