Description:
This is a good antique L&JG Stickley sewing
rocker from the early 1900s Mission and Arts & Crafts period in very
good condition. The piece is made of excellent quarter sawn oak with a
good original finish. The chair has a slatted back and has nice arches
at the seat rail. It is pinned at the top and bottom and the original
spring seat has good old leather upholstery. The piece is model #424 and
is signed with an early red decal.
This rocker is part of a set with an armchair and arm rocker which are
also available.
