Description:
This is a superb early Limbert lamp table
from the early 1900s Mission and Arts & Crafts period in very good
condition. The piece is made of excellent quarter sawn oak with a
refinished top and an original finish on the base. The table has very
unique form with wide legs with wide crossed stretchers. The legs have
excellent cutouts and a very subtle shape to the feet. There are keyed
through tenons below the cutouts and the top has nice octagonal form.
The table is signed with an early paper label and is model #143. This is
a rare and decorative piece in unusually good condition.
