Description:
This is a superb antique mahogany cheval
mirror from the late 1800s to early 1900s in excellent condition. The
piece is extremely well made and has an excellent original finish with
great color. The original beveled glass mirror is intact and has no
damage. The original brass hardware is present at the sides and the
piece sits on casters. The mirror rotates 360 degrees on its base and
the angle is adjustable with the brass screws at the sides. There are
excellent applied carvings as well as superb hand carved paw feet. The
piece is sturdy and very heavy and is highly decorative and usable.
