Description:
This is a good, rare antique Stickley
Brothers small bench from the early 1900s Mission and Arts & Crafts
period in very good condition. The piece is made of excellent quarter
sawn oak with what looks like a cleaned original finish. It has
excellent form with large exposed through tenons at the top and bottom
of the posts and a seat that is splined in several places. The bench is
numbered and marked with a partial paper label. This is a rare and
decorative form in a very versatile size.
