Description:
This is a nice antique Paine Furniture
(later Lifetime) bookcase from the early 1900s Mission and Arts & Crafts
period in very good condition. The piece is made of quarter sawn oak
with a cleaned original finish. It has two doors with wooden overlay and
original brass pulls. There is a shallow gouge beneath each pull as you
can see in the pictures. The bookcase has typical Mission rectilinear
design and has great color. It is signed on the back with a paper label
and is numbered as pictured. There are no shelves, but they can be made
fairly easily. The bookcase is very heavy and well made.
