Description:
This is a superb antique L&JG Stickley
mouse hole trestle table from the early 1900s Mission and Arts & Crafts
period in very good condition. The piece is made of superb quarter sawn
oak with a good original finish. The table has excellent form with large
keyed through tenons on each side and nice mouse hole cutouts at the
bottom. It is very thick and heavy with 1.5" boards making up the base.
The top is splined in several places and there are four pins at the top
of each pedestal. There is some discoloration at one corner of the top
as pictured. The piece is very sturdy and strong and is model #599. It
is signed with a decal under the top and is very decorative and
collectible.
