Description:
This is an antique Macey barrister bookcase
from the early 1900s Mission and Arts & Crafts period in good condition.
The piece is made of good quarter sawn oak with an original finish. The
bookcase has good original brass hardware including straps on the sides
(one is missing at bottom, see pictures). It is marked as pictures and
consists of three 10" sections over one 12" section and a nice footed
base. The bookcase is sturdy and strong and is highly functional and
decorative.
