Description:
This is a unique antique Arts & Crafts
window seat from the early 1900s Mission period in good condition. The
piece is made of oak and has what appears to be an original finish with
good color. The bench is very thick and heavy and has excellent large
through tenons at the top and bottom of each post as well as keyed
through tenons at the sides. The seat has very heavy springs and is
covered in new leather. The piece does have some nails and screws at the
joints that may be original. It is sturdy and strong and is very
comfortable.
